BOGO— a term most commonly associated with Payless Buy One Get One free sales, is used in my circle of friends to point out a cheap looking purse, out-of-date shoes, etc. Over the years, it’s provided me with some good laughs, especially when I was living off Dad’s dole. But now that I am supporting my own expensive shopping habits, I think the joke’s on me.
Thankfully, Payless has brought BOGO back in a big way. Jumping on the bandwagon of designer collaboration lines for less, Payless is now offering fall collections from designers Abaeté, Lela Rose, Alice+Olivia, and most recently, Christian Siriano (Project Runway: Season 4 winner).
Here are some of my top picks from the fall collections. And yes, I am actually considering buying a few pairs, but of course sticking to my “Got ‘em at Neiman’s” alibi.
