JJ's Pick-o-the-day
This video by Loquat, one of SF's most critically acclaimed local indie bands just came out this week. Front-woman Kylee Swenson has got a really cool voice and the band does some awesome stuff by
mixing electronic and acoustic instruments. Nylon mag says "In a genre marred by overproduction and, sometimes, a lack of imagination, Loquat is not only wonderfully organic but refreshingly inventive."
Loquat's second full length album, “Secrets of the Sea,” has been on numerous influential blogs' lists of favorite albums, and is available now on iTunes, Amazon and the Talking House Store.
