After a horrible set of picks in week 1, resulting in an 0-2 start, the college football research department was fired and re-staffed. Given the demographic of Wellset.com’s readers I’m sure many of you can sympathize with the situation. Needless to say, it will be difficult for these recently unemployed to find new jobs given that they have also recently pissed off every Aggie alum and member of the Catholic Church with picks against Texas A&M and Notre Dame. We wish them the best.
Moving on. Our new staff has recommended two picks from Saturday’s card. USC -7 vs. Ohio St, and Georgia vs. South Carolina Under 37.
The department truly believes the USC could beat Ohio State without playing offense. Granted that they will be allowed to play offense, a 7 point spread seems very manageable.
On the Georgia / South Carolina contest, these teams celebrate things like 50+ plus yard punts, Safeties, and 3 & Outs like Deon Sanders used to celebrate touchdowns. We predict a score of 3 to 6. Who cares who wins.
Good Luck,
The New College Football Research Department

Dear The Well Set College Football Department,

Give it up! You have one daughter already and another on the way and I bet (apparently something you should not be doing) they would like to go to college one day.
