A sad day, Mary Travers of Peter, Paul & Mary passed away after a long battle with leukiemia. Puff the Magic Dragon - what a great childhood song.
Many like to say that the song is about getting high and "traveling" to far away lands. The "actual" meaning behind the song, written by Leonard Lipton and Peter Yarrow, is about how young boys eventually grow up and lose their true imagination.
