My beloved God brother, John Renaud was born and raised in the desert of West Texas, he moved to New York City in 2005 in order to attend Pratt Institute, where he majored in fashion design. John got his roots in pattern making and technical design while working for Laura Moore Technical Services, where he had the opportunities to work on projects for such clients as Oscar De La Renta and Chesley Mclaren. He has worked with designer Christian Joy, costumer to the cult fashion icon Karen O; first as her intern and later her first design assistant. Under Joy, John was given the opportunity to work not only on the Christian Joy line, but on the costumes Joy designed for the Yeah Yeah Yeahs and the Klaxons. John Renaud will be launching his video feature at a release party thrown by Fashion Leak at Buy Definition, on Nov 7, John Renaud will be available for a meet and greet. They will also be playing Boudoir Queen, I Love Factory and John Renaud's video in the store with and showcasing pieces.Some pieces will be up for purchase, so happy shopping!
