I have a love/hate relationship with neon clothes and accessories. I love to wear solid neon to a Ghostland concert, but I hate neon that is poorly done and cheap looking (except for at said concert). You might be thinking - isn't all neon cheap looking? - well, I beg to differ. Some neon, not all, can be worn well. Just check out our Lady Luck from Vogue.com above. She is classy, interesting and on point with the trend: not too over the top.
For your enjoyment I have hand picked some high and low options for your neon closet supplement. I particularly like a solid neon accessory because you get to be current without looking like a highlighter, but hey, you may be able to pull it off better than me. I just recently purchased my Neon Box Bag from Zara and got a plethora of compliments when I wore it out. Plus, at that price who cares if it is out next season. Although, I am going to go out on a limb here and say that neon has some staying power. It was big last season as an accent color and I would venture to say that there will be some neon spotted come winter to brighten up neutrals of all varieties.
