What People Are Buying Now: L'Oreal Sublime Bronze

L'Oreal Paris Sublime Bronze One Day Tinted Gel ($10)
We're all for getting the bronze without the harmful bake, which means we've explored about a million different tanners over the years. While most have left us underwhelmed, L'Oreal's new Sublime Bronze One Day Tinted Gel is really revolutionary. It's has a unique, no-mistakes formula, dries in seconds, and gives your skin a truly lovely color. If that's not enough consider these two facts: it doesn't smell and it washes off with soap and water. That means it's amazing for tan line cover-ups, self-tanner corrections, and commitment-phobes alike!

Teaser for the Film Social Network

[Vulture] The Social Network Will Open the New York Film Festival

A week before its October 1 national premiere, David Fincher's The Social Network — a very dramatic telling of the origins of Facebook starring indie heartthrob Jesse Eisenberg — will open this year's New York Film Festival. Says producer Scott Rudin: "This is the rare example of a movie that is about something that is happening at this very moment ... It’s about ambition, it’s about greed. It’s about betrayal. It’s about friendship. It’s about trying to be on the inside of something when you feel, terminally, on the outside of everything." No other films have been announced for NYFF, although rest assured none of them will be about the totally boring origins of MySpace. [ArtsBeat/NYT]
