50-75% Off Swimwear in a Store Near You

By Elizabeth Locke, Dallas

I love summertime and swimwear but can’t justify spending hundreds of dollars on bikinis. I wish I liked the cheap ones at Target but a.) they don’t fit me very well and b.) don’t last very long. If you have any fall/winter beach trips planned or just want to stock up, go shopping right this second because everything is majorly discounted. I just got these two adorable swimsuits at Dillard’s for 50-75% off:

Betsey Johnson Swimsuit (originally $158, bought it for $46)

Rampage Swimsuit (originally over $114, bought it for $38)

Here are some other great finds online:

Ralph Lauren bikini in red, lime green, or yellow (originally $175, now $54)

Vix Pink & White Bikini from The Orchid Boutique, which I love. (Originally $142, now $112)

Ralph Lauren Navy Blue & White Striped Terry Cloth Cover-Up at Nordstrom’s (originally $95, now $62)

Ella Moss Tunic from Neiman’s (originally $125, now $44)

Well, this band, Letters Vs Numbers (http://www.lettersvsnumbers.com/Letters_VS._Numbers/_.html) will cheer you up because they are awesome. Seriously.

Note: The man in this YouTube video is NOT AJ of LVN - it's just some weird dude but it's funny and I thought we could all use an early afternoon laugh.

Okay, so who is this LVN group you speak of? They live, record and perform mostly on the West Coast, but I got to meet AJ last year during SXSW when he performed at a seriously awesome backyard bash.

Their latest album, "Bone Tired" took me a couple of times to warm up to, but now I'm totally obsessed and can't stop listening - especially to "The Deep Dark" and "If I Don't Make it Home." - both totally legitimate tracks. Check them out on MySpace here (http://www.myspace.com/lettersvsnumbers).

What's even cooler about the band is how they released the album. They made 25 copies and sent them around the world. They told you to rip it on your computer, sign your name and city on the travel log on the outside of the CD, then send it to someone for them to do the same. Rad, right? The one I got came from the band in LA, I did my thing and sent it to @LeighannParker in San Fran, and she has since sent it over to London. A great idea - a great band. Album is on sale on itunes now. Enjoy.
